According to The Media Mob column in the Jan. 2 edition of The New York Observer, SI writer S.L Price has signed a deal with Ecco, a Harper Collins imprint, to write the story of Mike Coolbaugh, a coach in the Colorado Rockies’ minor league system who was killed by a line drive while on the field.
The book is slated for release during the winter of 2009.
